Meet Dr. George Gerakios

The Professional Side

Originally from Tarpon Springs, Florida, Dr. George Gerakios is honored to care for patients in his home state.

Dr. George earned his bachelor’s degree in microbiology from the University of South Florida, where he discovered his passion for science and health. He continued his education at the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM) School of Dental Medicine,  where he earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD).

Dr. George’s clinical interests include preventative dentistry, restorative care, and helping patients feel confident and comfortable throughout their treatment. His treatment plans support long-term oral and overall wellness for his patients.

Known for his calm and thoughtful approach to patient care, Dr. George values clear communication and patient education. He is deeply committed to ongoing professional development and continuing education to ensure that he provides the most effective care possible.

The Personal Side

Outside the office, Dr. George enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, traveling, and playing sports.  His Orthodox Christian faith is a guiding influence in his life, shaping his values of compassion, humility, and service to others. Dr. George brings the same grounded, genuine presence that patients experience in the dental chair, whether he’s exploring a new destination or relaxing with loved ones,
