Meet Dr. Collin Myrick

The Professional Side

Dr. Collin Myrick, a proud member of a long line of Walton County residents, called DeFuniak home until the age of seven, when his father’s career led the family to Freeport. However, the tight-knit community of DFS left a lasting impression, shaping Dr. Myrick’s dedication to serving its residents. After graduating from Freeport High School, he pursued a bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences at Auburn University (War Eagle!) and obtained a Doctorate in Dental Surgery at the University of Texas School of Dentistry.

Despite the challenges the pandemic presented during his graduation year, Dr. Myrick embarked on what he describes as the best phase of his career journey. After joining DeFuniak Springs Family Dental, Dr. Myrick discovered a team of clinicians dedicated to improving this area’s access to quality dental care. He finds inspiration in the collective effort of his team members, who strive to educate, inspire, and meet the diverse needs of their patients.

The Personal Side

Beyond professional fulfillment, Dr. Myrick has also been blessed personally. He married his wife, Blaize, in December 2021, and together, they enjoy sharing in life and the love of Jesus with the world around them. The couple enjoys finding more avenues to share the Gospel as they actively engage with the DeFuniak Springs community. Looking ahead, Dr. Myrick expresses genuine enthusiasm about serving our community and hopes to continue to foster a comfortable, convenient dental experience for individuals and families.
